Val d'Isere & Tignes ski day itineraries.
Basics, extensions & longer days
For blue run skiers & above
OPTION 1 - round the world!
Start off at the top of Bellevarde.
From the centre of town take the Telepherique Olympique/from La Daille take the Funival.
Head down either
Verte
Diebold
OK
Towards the Folie Douce where you take a left towards the
Tommeuses chairlift.

Piste Henri into Tignes Val Claret.
Lanches chairlift.
Double M back into Val Claret.
This is an optional add on and can be omitted if wanting to avoid red runs.
Or you can take the Cairn back down into Val Claret.
Tichot chairlift straight to
Grattalu chairlift.
Heading left off the top of the Grattalu chairlift head back down towards the bottom.
Grattalu, which takes you past the snow park if you fancy!
Turns into Carline.
Back into Tignes Val Claret.
Tichot & Grattalu chairlifts back to the top.
Heading right off the Grattalu.
Mur
If you prefer to stick to blue runs you can head left off the chair and take the first part of Grattalu.
Keep to the left onto
Lac or Merles
Grand Huit chairlift.
Percee Neige
Follow it down onto Anemone.
Keep going on this run - either follow all the way down or keep your eyes peeled for the left turn to Combe, a fun little mini halfpipe type piste.
All the way down to Tignes Le Lac.
You will pass the boarder cross on the way down if you fancy!
Keep going towards the Toviere bubble lift which will take you back up to Val d’Isere.

Start off at the top of Bellevarde.
From the centre of town take the Telepherique Olympique/from La Daille take the Funival.

When you see the Aiguille Rouge chairlift cross overhead and the Lo Soli restaurant ahead you can go
Right of the restaurant down Bleuets
or left of the restaurant down Petit Col
into Tignes Le Lac.
Palafour lift lap.

Corniche
BLACK RUN OPTIONS
On the way down Corniche you will find a number of options off to the left if you fancy some challenging black runs that take you down to Tignes Les Brévières.
GENTLER OPTION
Keep heading down Corniche.
When you see the Aiguille Rouge chairlift crossing overhead and the Lo Soli restaurant ahead take a left down Rhododendron.
From here all roads lead to Brévières (Tignes 1550).
There are lots of junctions and criss crossing pistes, but whichever route you take you will end up in the same place.
Follow Rhododendron down, it turns into
Melezes.
To avoid skiing the red run you can get in the Telecabine des Boisses.
Keep going, it doesn’t matter which way you go at each signpost they all eventually end up in Brévières.
If you have someone who has taken the bubble lift down the red you will need to follow the signs to Tignes les Boisses (Tignes 1800) in order to meet them at the bottom of the lift from where you can ski a green path the rest of the way.
Getting back…
Telecabine Brevieres.
Straight onto Telecabine des Boisses.
Straight onto Aiguille Rouge chairlift.

At Lo Soli restaurant you can go
Right of the restaurant down Bleuets
or left of the restaurant down Petit Col
into Tignes Le Lac.

OPTION 4 - via Tignes le Lac
Start off at the top of Bellevarde.
From the centre of town take the Telepherique Olympique/from La Daille take the Funival.
Head down either

Towards the Folie Douce where you take a left towards the Tommeuses chairlift.

Take a hard left at top of Tommeuses chair
Cretes at the junction go left
Combe Folle which turns into
Johan Clarey towards Tignes le Lac.
Just before the final steep section take the path on the right down towards Lavachet.
Follow down the green beginner slope, in line with the TK du Lavachet button lift.
All the way to Chaudanne lift.
Chaudanne chairlift.
At the top turn left for the Bleuets or right for the Petit Col.
Follow all the way down into Tignes le Lac.
Palafour lift lap.

Take either fork at the top.
Lys continue round to the left onto

Head back up Palafour chairlift.
Take either fork at the top.
Head down and instead of going left continue on the schuss towards
Merles chair.
You can take a lap on Merles chair.
Back down to the bottom on Lac or Merles.
Back up Merles chairlift.
Then at top carry straight ahead onto Grattalu.
Follow this down onto Carline.
Continue all the way down to Tignes Val Claret.
Lanches chairlift.
Double M back into Val Claret.
Bollin chairlift straight onto
Fresse chairlift.
And you will find yourself back in Val d’Isere.
OPTION 5 - via Tignes le Lac, plus Brévières (Tignes 1550).
A lot of skiing - fast skiers only to avoid getting stuck in Tignes!
Start off at the top of Bellevarde.
From the centre of town take the Telepherique Olympique/from La Daille take the Funival.
Head down either
Verte
Diebold
OK
Towards the Folie Douce where you take a left towards the Tommeuses chairlift.

LUNCH AT L’ARMAILLY.

Cyclamen follow down onto
Lys keep round to the right towards
Merles chairlift.
Head up Merles chairlift.
Then at top carry straight ahead onto Grattalu.
Follow this down onto Carline.
Continue all the way down to Tignes Val Claret.
Lanches chairlift.
Double M back into Val Claret.
Bollin chairlift straight onto
Fresse chairlift.
And you will find yourself back in Val d’Isere.
