AVOIDING THE CROWDS ON THE SLOPES - even in peak weeks
Hello!
And welcome!
I'm Clare, a British ski instructor living and working in the French alpine resort of Val d'Isere.
I am a fully qualified British instructor with my ISTD (International Ski Teacher Diploma) Level 4 BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) qualification and full French equivalence.
I also hold the European Mountain Safety qualification as well as being a Level 2 Race Coach.
A passionate skier, mountain enthusiast & outdoor lover, I am also a mum of two. My passion for skiing began as a small child. My father has always been (and always will be) a fanatical skier and this love has been passed through the generations. Having arrived here in 2006, after reaching a crossroads in my previous career of Psychology, I embarked upon the journey of becoming a ski instructor and have been here ever since. After a few years doing back-to-back winters we now live year round in Val d'Isere enjoying everything the mountains have to offer.
